Students invited to apply for new research bursary

The College of Radiographers is offering two undergraduate research bursaries in 2012, in partnership with the Nuffield Foundation.

The awards have been created to give experience of research to two student radiographers with research potential and to encourage them to consider a career in scientific research.

The awards will provide support for the student at a rate of £180 per week (£190 per week in London), for a period of between six and eight weeks.

Samantha Jewell, SCoR Professional Officer for Education & Students, commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for two student radiographers with research potential. I would encourage all HEIs to support any undergraduates they have with an interest in research to apply to help encourage them to consider a career in scientific research,”
