Supporting healthcare research

6 January, 2012

The Allied Health Professions Research Network (AHPRN) aims to increase research capability and capacity by providing research support.

The network is currently formed by 21 regional 'hubs' which offer researchers assistance by way of peer review, mentorship schemes, sharing good practice, disseminating information and offering advice.

By providing networking and collaboration opportunities, the network will increase and enhance the research output of the allied health professions. The network also hopes to give the research conducted by AHPs credibility and facilitate its application into clinical practice.

The AHPRN regional hubs welcome students, new and experienced researchers, clinicians, managers, consultants and academics from all allied health professions.

The regional hubs are:

1 Cheshire and Merseyside
2 Cumbria and Lancashire
