Radiographers promoting radiography
Radiographers are encouraged to take any opportunity to promote the profession to local schools and sixth form colleges. Also, there are opportunities to become involved in public speaking on radiography to various groups.
World Radiography Day has increased interest in radiography amongst the general public and local initiatives have been very effective in raising awareness locally. Features on World Radiography Events are reported on the website www.sor.org as news items and in Synergy News.
