Advanced practitioner accreditation

The SoR is inviting feedback on proposals for an advanced practice accreditation scheme.

It is hoped the scheme will ensure that all radiographers practising at advanced level are doing so effectively and safely. Advanced practitioners seeking accreditation would need to provide evidence of their education and experience in clinical practice.

Audrey Paterson, director of professional policy, urged members and non-members to take part in the survey: “The consultation is of relevance to radiographers at all levels, your views are important as they will help ensure the profession 'gets it right'.”
