World Radiography Day: 8 November 2007

Hundreds of departments are expected to take part in this year's World Radiography Day, sponsored by Philips Medical Systems.

The event gives radiographers the opportunity to publicise their profession and the important work that they do. Departments can order special WRD information packs which include stickers, posters, fluffy 'bugs', recruitment leaflets, and other materials.

Richard Evans, the Society's CEO, said: “Last year WRD was a big event in the radiography calendar, this year we hope to get even more departments involved.

“It's a great opportunity to showcase some of the achievements of the profession.”
