First definitive treatment

This is the first treatment that a patient has for their cancer. For example, a patient who undergoes pre-operative radiotherapy, their radiotherapy is counted as their first definitive treatment. However, for a patient who has chemotherapy before starting radiotherapy, chemotherapy is their first definitive treatment.
