Diane Scutt TDCR, MSc, PhD
I qualified as a diagnostic radiographer in 1973 and worked clinically at the Royal Southern Hospital Liverpool, Christie Hospital Manchester and Royal Liverpool University Hospital. I started teaching in 1985 and I obtained an MSc in Movement Science in 1992 and PhD in combined areas of imaging and evolutionary biology in 1998. I am currently a Reader and Director of Postgraduate Research in the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Liverpool. My research interests are in breast cancer detection and predisposition, and I am currently working with engineering departments in UK and Canada and industrial collaborators. I am a C12 panel member for the RAE 2008.
