Student Membership - join now!
If you are beginning the second, third or fourth year of your course you will already be a registered student. Unfortunately funding is no longer provided automatically by universities (some will continue to do so - please check with your institution) and this has required the Society to make a small charge for our services.
We invite you to continue to receive membership benefits but need to ask you for a subscription in future. The cost is reduced to £45 per year this year (£60 in subsequent years) while you are a student and the good news is that upon qualification you will receive a saving on your first year's subscription similar to the total subscription you will have paid as a student.
We may already hold some details about you, these will appear automatically and can be updated immediately online.
NOTE: Your membership includes representation from the SoR. Events that occur before you become a member are not covered.
NOTE: Please consult the list of Universities here. If your University does NOT pay for your student fees please continue with your registration. If your university is covering the cost of your membership, please do not attempt to register until further notice, as you will be prompted for your own payment details. We are currently upgrading the system to respond to this.

You are eligible for up to a year of free membership upon qualification if you:
- subscribe from the beginning of a four year course starts you receive one year free
- subscribe from the beginning of a three year course you receive nine months free
- subscribe for two full years you will receive six months free
- subscribe for one full year you will receive three months free
NOTE: Up until October 2007 HEIs subscribed to the Society and College on your behalf. After that date, Students are responsible for the cost of their membership. However you can save nearly all of the cost when you qualify through great savings in your first year as a qualified member.

Declaration
I confirm that the information in my application for membership of the Society of Radiographers will be correct and, assuming that I am accepted, undertake to be bound by the provisions of the Articles of Association and the code of ethics and professional conduct of the organisation.
Data Protection Act
Your information is provided to the Society to enable you to become a student member. Your data is held on a secure database and may be released to outside service providers, under contract, to provide your benefits and may also be released to secretaries of regional/ country SOR committees. Data is not released to external organisation for marketing purposes.
