SoR student conference 2008
Will your HEI be represented at the SoR student conference?
Held on 19 February 2008, the event is an opportunity for students of all years to meet and hear from speakers.
All HEIs have been invited to nominate a total of two first or second year students (first, second and third for four year programmes) to attend. Places are free and travel expenses will be paid. Ask you tutor to find out whether your HEI has taken up its places. Topics will include: The changing nature of the NHS and implications for the workforce, and the transition from student to working life.
The event will also see the UK launch of the SoR student network. Student observer Kris Owden said: ŇA network will mean important employment, financial, university and clinical issues can be discussed by students across the UK with ease. The conference will be an important day in establishing this so come along!"
Registration forms have been sent to all HEIs but please contact SoR administrator student support as soon as possible for information or assistance.
