New year; new student services
As we ring in 2008, the SoR is launching a range of new benefits for student members.
A reps handbook, the SoR student network and the second annual student conference are all in the pipeline along with developments to existing services such as information for first years and resources for graduate job seekers.
SoR student officer, Samantha Jewell, will drive forward the changes with the help of student reps. She said: "We are working hard to develop a value for money service that supports students effectively.
"I think it is key to listen to students and encourage involvement, so the SoR can give them the services they need. I want to build a strong network of reps who can help this happen."
