Search for your Sonographer
The Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) in partnership with the United Kingdom Association of Sonographers has developed a Public Voluntary Register for those individuals practising as sonographers. Individuals may have their name entered on this register which will help members of the public to confirm that the sonographer undertaking their examination is appropriately qualified. It will also help to support the continuing application to the Health Professions Council for sonography to become a regulated profession and 'sonographer' and 'ultrasonographer' to become protected titles.
To search for an individual, please enter their surname into the search box. This will identify all individuals with that surname along with the location of their workplace and their scope of practice e.g obstetrics, musculo-skeletal etc. In order to protect individuals only limited information will be viewed and it is not possible to search on any criteria other than a known surname.

Any enquiries regarding this register should be directed, in the first instance, to approval@sor.org |
