Student Radiographer of the Year

Enter your students for the SoR’s Student Award 2009 and give them a chance to shine!
For the second year running, the Radiography Student of the Year Awards will honour final year undergraduates who represent the ‘best of the profession’s values’.
One award each will be made to a diagnostic and theraputic student for their ‘outstanding achievement during their radiography training’.
“Many universities hold their own awards, but this is a national competition judged by key members of the profession so the title is really unique,” explained Samantha Jewell, student officer for the SoR.
“The winners will stand out instantly when they apply for jobs, which is a great opportunity at a time when there is tough competition for posts.”
The presentation will take place alongside the 2009 SoR Radiography Awards, which will be held at the House of Commons on Thursday 12 November.
“The award ceremony itself is at a spectacular venue. The winners and their guests are invited to a champagne reception to celebrate. It is a wonderful opportunity to recognise excellent work and meet people from across the profession.”
This is your chance to put forward names of your students who you think deserve to be recognised for their achievements.
To nominate: Download the application form and submit to your HEI by 31 July 2009.
