The Society's Council today (11 January 2012) discussed the proposed public sector pensions Heads of Agreement. It became clear that the final details have yet to be released. Once these are available, UK Council agreed that the members should have the final say as to whether the revised deal should be accepted or rejected.
"When we have all the details about what the negotiations have produced since the Day of Action, we will inform the members about what the implications are for accepting or rejecting the offer," said Sue Johnson, the Society's President.
