    Salary:
    Lecturer - £37,587 - £44,114 per annum
    Senior Lecturer - £47,381 - £52,818 per annum
     

    AECC University College is seeking an exceptional academic to help shape our progressive future in the delivery of teaching in the field of Diagnostic Radiography who can contribute to our expanding portfolio of educational courses, research and enterprise activities.  

     

    AECC University College is a specialist health sciences institution established in 1965, dedicated to excellent education, clinical care and applied research. Based in Bournemouth, our campus is in an attractive setting, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Building on its proud heritage, the University College is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth. Based in a beautiful location in Bournemouth, Dorset, we provide a vibrant and positive inter-professional learning and practice environment, within a caring and inclusive community. 

     

    About the role 

    Reporting to the Head of School of Radiology, the successful candidate will undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in a variety of radiographic disciplines.  

     

    This role would suit a developing academic looking to further their career, or for a current Diagnostic Radiographer looking to diversify their skills and job role to complement their working practices. Joint academic/clinical roles or will be considered.  

     

    The successful candidate(s) will contribute to the delivery of Diagnostic Radiography education to a variety of health professions students within the institution. They will also assist with the administration and academic practices involved in the delivery of first class health care education. 

     

    The Senior Lecturer role will also contribute to the development and delivery of the Radiography courses.  They may also play a key role in supporting the strategic ambition and direction of the School including the development of enterprise activities and diversification of educational provision and approaches to delivery.   

     

    About the person 

    We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated HCPC registered Radiographer to join our team. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team are essential qualities the successful applicant will possess.
