Guidelines for Professional Ultrasound Practice

This document is as a result of collaboration between the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) and the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS).

Originally published in this format in December 2015 it is reviewed every year to maintain currency. This is the fourth revision and is dated December 2019, identified also by a yellow cover.

These guidelines are not designed to be prescriptive but to inform good ultrasound practice. They provide a valuable source of information for many ultrasound related topics with active links to relevant organisations for further advice and guidance. For this fourth revision we have been able to introduce section to section links for convenience and have re-ordered the various sections of the document.
