Provide supportive environment for radiographers with either a formal diagnosis of neurodiversity and to encourage research into neurodiversity
The purpose of this group is to provide supportive environment for radiographers with either a formal diagnosis of neurodiversity, or who are awaiting or considering pursuing a diagnosis.
Furthermore, we're also here to encourage research into neurodiversity within our profession, improving lives through understanding and supporting recruitment and retention of neurodiverse colleagues.
As well as promote appreciation of and communication with radiographers with these conditions.
The group would aim to support UK Council in fulfilling Motion 12 ADC 2024 (Training and Education in relation to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)).
Also support objective 3.1 of the Memorandum (to protect the interest of persons engaged in radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects) where such persons are members of a neurodiverse minority.
