Reporting Radiographers Interest Group Scotland (RRIGS)

RRIGS was established in 2011 to provide a forum for Diagnostic Image Reporting Radiographers to share professional and educational opportunities

Originally within a regional platform to encourage development of current and future practice and professional education, the group has now become a national concern with opportunities for local subgroups to be formed by like minded individuals.

Aims & objectives of RRIGS

  • To support and contribute to the development of standards of best practice for those involved in providing diagnostic image reports;
  • To provide advice and support to those radiographers already working in diagnostic image reporting or those interested in becoming involved;
  • The network provides a forum for such healthcare professionals to meet and exchange ideas, information, interesting cases and best practice.

Membership of the Reporting Radiographer Interest Group Scotland is currently confined to HCPC registered radiographers who hold, or are working towards, postgraduate qualification in diagnostic image reporting.

Membership to the Reporting Radiographer Interest Group Scotland is free of charge. The group, for the time being, shall be self-funded and operate on a not for profit basis.
