Educators
The quality of radiography education is of paramount importance to the profession.
Academic rigour is only part of the education process. In order to have the highest quality workforce, the learning of clinical skills must be as important.
The importance of educators within the profession to provide quality education cannot be emphasised enough. They are fundamental to the continuous development of the clinical imaging and oncology service.
In helping to provide radiography education for the future workforce, educators are effectively developing the future workforce.
There are useful resources and links, as well as examples of how radiographers have made the transition from clinical radiography to education, in Education and Career Framework for the Radiography Workforce.
