CoRIPS student research funding awarded

Mofolorunso Okubanjo, a radiotherapy and oncology student from Sheffield Hallam University, has been awarded the CoR’s CoRIPS Undergraduate Research Grant.

The funding will go towards Mofolorunso’s research titled: Investigating experiences of the radiotherapy bladder emptying policy and patient preferences for a self catheterisation intervention: A pre-trial stakeholder engagement study.

The Undergraduate Research Grant was created to give experience of research to student radiographers with research potential, and to encourage them to consider a career in scientific research.

The award provides support for the student at a rate of £180 per week (£190 per week in London), for a period of between six and eight weeks.
