Sonographers’ Voluntary Register: Renew from 1 March

voluntary

Sonographers currently listed on the Public Voluntary Register of Sonographers will be asked to renew their registration from 1 March 2015.

The current register closes on 28 February and there is a two-month window in which to renew.

Professional Officer (Ultrasound) Nigel Thomson urges all sonographers to renew, saying: “Renewing your voluntary registration will help to protect the public and will support the ongoing bid for statutory registration. It is a straight-forward process and can be done online.

“There is no charge for SCoR members or those already registered with the HCPC or NMC. Full details of how to renew will follow shortly.”

Current voluntary registration status can be checked online via Search for your sonographer.
