Grade: Band 7 £50,030 - £59,523 BAR £61,543 - £65,789 per annum.
The Bailiwick of Guernsey Health and Social Care committee are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Radiography professional to take up the post of band 7 Advanced Radiographer for MRI. The role of Advanced Radiographer has responsibility for overseeing the MRI (Magnetic Ressonance Imaging) services at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
You will join our Radiology leadership team at an exciting time and will have a unique opportunity to influence the design and expansion of our imaging services. The Princess Elizabeth Hospital Radiology team has a well-established structure for Radiographers and supporting staff who manage their own speciality but also work collaboratively as a team to drive innovation and quality across the Radiology department.
As an Island hospital for 65,000 inhabitants many of the services offered are unusual for a hospital normally of this size. As the Bailiwick of Guernsey is a crown dependency we are outside of the NHS however we work closely with colleagues in the UK to deliver the highest levels of Healthcare.

As an Advanced Radiographer you will have a pivotal role in operational management of the MRI service and will demonstrate excellent clinical knowledge and skills. Operationally you will support the cross sectional team leader in the planning and delivery of MRI imaging across the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The ability to work collaboratively and interact within multi-professional and diverse teams and partners is essential when working across the Islands healthcare system. You should be regarded as a MRI scanning 'expert' and have at least 5 years experience within this cross sectional imaging. The post-holder should have knowledge of project management and service improvement as they will play a key role in this development of future services and projects.
You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, and be registered with the HCPC. Applicants with recent UK NHS experience is mandatory; applicants with no recent UK experience will not be shortlisted.
