The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are seeking diagnostic radiographers, to undertake the role of Registration Assessor.
Sammuel, Registration Manager, explains: ‘Registration assessors are responsible for assessing all Grandparenting, international, Swiss Mutual Recognition (SMR), UK-Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein Free Trade Agreement (FTA) or European mutual recognition (EMR) applicants to see if they meet our standards of proficiency before being accepted onto the Register. This can be from the first stage of looking at the application, to looking at further information or carrying out a test of competence. Based on their findings, assessors are able to make a recommendation to the HCPC’s Education and Training Committee regarding the outcome of an application. This means that our assessors are able to have an invaluable input into protecting the public through the maintenance of our Register.’
This role is completed remotely, and we pay a rate of £82 for each application reviewed. Any travel and accommodation expenses in relation to this role are paid in accordance with the HCPC Expenses Policy.
The role can fit most diary commitments and working patterns. If you are successful, you will be required to attend mandatory training prior to commencing your role.
Closing date for applications: 30 May 2025 at 1pm
Interview dates: 07 July to 01 August 2025
Compulsory training days: 11 September, or 25 September (you must be able to attend one training date).
The HCPC is committed to equality of opportunity and actively guards against unfair discrimination on any grounds (including sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, race, sex, age, gender reassignment, marriage, civil partnership, pregnancy, maternity or disability).
