We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sonographer, and two Radiographers to join our friendly, hard working imaging team in providing a comprehensive radiology service to the people of the Western Isles.

NHS Western Isles serves the whole of the Western Isles (also known as the Outer Hebrides) from the Isle of Barra in the South to the Isle of Lewis in the North with a population of approximately 27,000.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced General Sonographer, with a wide and varied skill-set including; Abdo, Pelvis, Renal, Small parts, DVT, MSK and Carotids. Using Canon Amplio i700s over two sites – Western Isles Hospital and Uist and Barra Hospital.

The Radiographers should have several years of experience in working across all general modalities, CT and be confident to work independently out of hours.

There is an on-call commitment with the Radiographer posts.

NHS Western Isles is fully digital and has a Canon Aquilian Prime SP CT scanner.
