The Society and College of Radiographers are two separate companies operating together to provide service and support for those involved in radiography. Together they comprise the professional body and trade union for those practicing in medical imaging and radiotherapy.
The Society of Radiographers has a great opportunity to join our Digital Communications Team.
This Digital Content Creator will play a key role in creating and delivering dynamic and engaging content across a range of digital channels for the Society and College of Radiographers.
The role requires a creative person with graphic design and / or digital production skills who can help enhance our digital presence using a range of techniques across several channels and platforms including websites, social media and online learning platforms.
You will create video, audio and image assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other design or editing programmes and design online and offline marketing materials, including leaflets, programmes and assets for newsletters, website content and social media campaigns.
You will be creative and have experience in a similar role, with a proven delivery record. If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be asked to present your portfolio of high quality marketing collateral, creative and digital assets and details of campaigns you have been involved in.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), Canva or equivalent is essential along with experience of working to create audio and video assets.
We are committed to cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace as we believe that this fosters creativity and innovation and is representative of the world around us.
We would like to encourage people who are protected by the Equalities Act to apply, particularly those from an ethnically diverse background to ensure we are representing the true diversity of our membership body.
Additionally, if you need assistance with your application, or a reasonable adjustment to the recruitment and selection process – for example, because you are neurodivergent, or have a physical, sensory, cognitive, mental, visible or invisible disability – please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.
Home, hybrid or flexible working arrangements are available, and there is a requirement to attend head office in London at least two days per week when on a hybrid contract or as required for homeworkers.
Whatever way you like to work, if you have the skills, experience, talent and commitment to join our team, we’d like to hear from you.
*We expect to receive a large number of applications for this role, and reserve the right to close the job to applications earlier than stated. Therefore, please do not delay in submitting your application if you are interested.
