Preceptorship Information and Resource Hub

Providing clear information on what preceptorship should mean for the radiographic workforce.

Welcome to the SoR|CoR Preceptorship Information and Resource Hub

At the Society of Radiographers (SoR), and in partnership with the College of Radiographers (CoR), we recognise the benefits and importance of preceptorship in radiography. To inform and inspire the workforce, we've developed a comprehensive information and resource hub, providing clear information on what preceptorship should mean for the radiography workforce, signposting to national and profession-specific resources and celebrating those involved in successful preceptorship programmes across the UK.

This hub is intended to be used by all members of the clinical imaging and therapeutic radiography workforce.

The following sections provide an overview of preceptorships in radiography.  It is intended to:

  • Signpost to current multiprofessional guidance and resources on preceptorship
  • Identify profession-specific areas for consideration within radiography preceptorships,
  • Provide access to profession-specific resources available
