      This one day course is designed so as to follow the basic principle that underpins the prize winning book: Accident & Emergency Radiology: A Survival Guide . . . viz: ”these images look normal to me, but – how can I be absolutely sure that I am not missing a subtle but clinically important abnormality?”

       

      Radiology Red Dot CXR Course

      11th June 2023

      Radiographers are frequently very good at recognising abnormalities on CXRs despite having limited or no formal training in assessing these images. This intensive day will take you through the essentials of CXR interpretation leaving you more confident to "red dot" abnormalities which might otherwise be overlooked.

      The teaching format involves short lectures, cases analysis at your own computer and interactive tutorials.

    • MRI Safety Course | 12th to 14th June

      Gain essential MRI safety knowledge to best manage MRI safety at the course everyone’s talking about. Join us as we host Dr Kanal’s 3rd European MR Safety Officer/MR Medical Director (MRSO/MRMD) course again. This hugely popular three-day MRI safety course runs from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th June.

      Location: It will be held in The Millennium Gloucester Hotel, 4-18 Harrington Gardens, South Kensington, London, SW7 4LH.

      Cost is £600 plus VAT, if self-funding, or £700 plus VAT, if funded.

    • BMUS General Medical Study Day | 16 June 2023

      The British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) presents this one day study day will focus on the Liver and Liver Disease. With talks on Focal Liver Lesions and Chronic Liver Disease. It will look at the use of Doppler in Chronic Liver Disease. There will be interactive sessions during the day with a Quiz on Liver Ultrasound and a round table discussion on the role of the Sonographer Vs the Radiologist in general medical ultrasound.

      On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we warmly invite you to join us at the 4th Biennial Global Leading the Way in Radiography and Radiotherapy Advanced Practice (LTWRAP 2023) conference to be held in Singapore from 17-18th November 2023.

      LTWRAP is an international radiography and radiation therapy advanced practice conference aims to bring together Medical Radiation Sciences thought leaders and Advanced Practitioners (AP) from around the world to build a community of practice and exchange ideas, knowledge, and best practices to promote advancements in our professions and to inspire our next generation.       The theme for this year’s event is Celebration! There are many things to celebrate and one being the resumption of a physical conference here in Singapore! Come and join us as we network with fellow medical imaging and therapy practitioners on international perspectives of advanced practice. Be inspired by our influential keynote speakers and celebrate together as we share our achievements, collaborations, and impact of advanced practice. Call for abstracts will be out soon. Do keep a lookout.
