By mapping professional activities to career levels, this guidance aims to promote consistency in workforce planning, support career development, and facilitate meaningful job planning discussions. It recognises that the contribution of sonographers extends beyond direct clinical activity and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities across the four pillars of practice.
