PET-CT SIG for radiographers and technologists to enable and encourage sharing of knowledge and information.

Aims and objectives

To share information, experiences and techniques.

Help in the development and enhancement of professional practice.

To provide expert advice and recommendations for PET-CT (Radiographers/technologists).

Help and provide advice with the crossover of professions eg, Technologists performing CT and vice versa.

Aim to have a mix of professions to help and advise on such matters.

Provide education advice – such as developing a file of case studies with a view to producing posters and study days.

Provide advice and support for Radiographer/ Technologists setting up a new PET-CT service.

To meet twice yearly to start off with, with a look to increasing that and incorporating study days as the group develops.
