AHPs Day is a great opportunity to promote Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month

Today is the first Allied Health Professions Day #AHPsDay. It presents a great opportunity for sonographers to raise awareness of their work, particularly because it falls during Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month.

Enthusiastically supported by the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer for England, Suzanne Rastrick, the day provides a chance for sonographers to promote the profession to other health and medical professionals, as well as the public.

Many trusts have events planned today and sonographers should take full advantage. We have so much to tell people about. Medical ultrasound plays an increasingly prominent role in diagnostic imaging services and everyone should know of the brilliant work of the practitioners who make it possible.
