The lead research radiographer at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has been granted an academic promotion for her contribution to research.
Dr Helen McNair has been given the title of Reader by the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). The ICR uses criteria to judge the conferment of the title such as academic excellence, national and international leadership, personal and team science, contribution to teaching and learning, as well as service and leadership.
Helen was recently awarded a HEE/NIHR Senior Clinical Lectureship and she is a former SoR UK Radiographer of the Year.
