Become a technical/peer assessor for ISAS

Radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technicians and radiologists are being urgently required to become assessors for the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme.

If you have at least four years practical experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology in any of the following areas (for both adults and paediatrics), you are encouraged to apply for the role:

  • Fluoroscopy
  • Mammography
  • Ultrasound
  • Computerised tomography
  • MRI
  • Radionuclide imaging
  • DEXA
  • PACs
  • General radiology
  • Interventional radiology

You’ll receive in-depth training, one day pre-training and two days residential training, and participation will contribute towards your CPD.

Up to three assessments per year will be expected from you, consisting of a site visit and remote evidence review.
