Six new breast imaging e-learning sessions are available for radiographers

The online course has been developed in partnership with the National Breast Imaging Academy

Radiographers have access to six free new e-learning sessions on breast imaging on the E-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) website developed in partnership with the National Breast Imaging Academy (NBIA).

The online educational sessions, which is the seventh monthly update of 85 e-learning sessions from the e-LfH, include topics on a variety of aspects of breast imaging including surgery, oncology and risk and prevention.
 
The new sessions include: Day in the Life of a Breast Radiologist, Day in the Life of a Mammographer, Incidental Findings in the Breast on CT, Normal Breast and Axilla on Ultrasound, MRI The Written Report and The Normal Breast.

The NBIA is a national collaborative and multidisciplinary project funded by HEE, hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and works alongside numerous organisations and societies including the Society and College of Radiographers.

Other modules include: Breast Density, Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), MRI Guided Biopsy and Reflective Practice in Breast Imaging.
