Mind Your Money Month webinar recordings will be available online for only one more month, the SoR is reminding members, with sessions set to be removed at the end of December.
The financial campaign offers information and professional support on matters of money, including written resources and recorded webinars.
However these online webinars, currently available to all members online, will become unavailable after the end of December.
These webinars and written resources break down jargon and provide tools for members to make more informed financial decisions, whether to create healthy saving habits, manage debt or buy their first property.
While the webinars will become unavailable after the end of the year, the portal itself will be accessible until September 2025.
“Good financial wellbeing means being and feeling in control of your finances,” a spokesperson for the SoR said. “A lack of confidence in your finances means you may find it difficult to plan for your future, enjoy the present, and it can have a negative impact on your overall health too.

If you want to discover the different savings options available for short, medium and long-term financial planning, then this session is for you. It guided you through balancing your spending and savings habits and also highlighted some of the savings options available for personal and family finances.
Are you thinking about buying your first property, but not sure where to start? Or perhaps you just want to understand your options and the entire process before taking the plunge? This session was all about the current property market – the costs of owning a property, the different types of mortgages, the help available for first-time buyers, as well as protection considerations and the importance of getting the right advice.
Pensions might not be the most exciting subject, but they’re one of the most important long-term savings vehicles and shouldn’t be overlooked. In this light hearted and jargon-free session, you learn about how your pension works. The NHS pension scheme was covered in some detail, along with the State Pension and defined contribution pensions. The session also covered aspects of retirement planning.
Estate planning is a key element of any solid financial plan. It ensures that your wealth is protected and safely passed on to your loved ones, according to your wishes. This session helped you understand the basics of estate planning, including how to protect and preserve your family wealth, and it also covered inheritance tax, trusts and the importance of having a will.
