In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month 2026, the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers is encouraging Indian-origin radiographers working in the UK to join the Special Interest Group.
South Asian Heritage Month is a nationally observed programme bringing communities, institutions and individuals together to celebrate and deepen understanding of South Asian heritage, taking place throughout July.
This year’s theme is ‘unity and diversity’, and asks people to explore what unites people across their differences, shared values, intertwined histories, and commitment to community and belonging, while celebrating the beauty and strength that diversity brings.
As part of this month, the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers (PAIR SIG) is inviting any members of the SoR with South Asian heritage to join and participate in its programme of webinars and events.
The PAIR SIG is a dedicated network of Indian-origin radiographers working within the healthcare system, committed to supporting and empowering Indian radiographers.
Its current initiatives include:
Members of PAIR gain exclusive access to workshops, conferences and education resources, as well as opportunities to connect with fellow Indian radiographers to benefit from the guidance of experienced professionals.
By collectively advocating for issues affecting Indian radiographers, its members can ensure their voices are heard and receive updates on the latest developments in the Indian radiographer community in the UK.
