The webinar will close with a question and answer session for all speakers.
Ms. Johnson, who is professional officer for clinical imaging at the SoR, said: “It's a pleasure to host such a positive event. There is so much good work and enthusiasm to ensure our support and assistant workforce feel valued in their roles as well as opening up career opportunities for those that want to progress. There is so much more we could have included, this webinar can only bring a snapshot as a taster to whet appetites to find out more.”
Attendees will get the chance to identify key trends and developments in the radiography support workforce, and explore innovative approaches to recruitment, retention and career development for support staff.
By engaging in constructive discussions and sharing their experiences with colleagues from diverse radiography settings, audiences will be inspired to champion the vital role of support workers and assistant practitioners as well as gaining a renewed appreciation for the impact of the radiography support workforce on patient care and service delivery.
