The Society of Radiographers is inviting expressions of interest from any members who would like to be considered for appointment to positions in a variety of advisory groups.
Applications are welcome from all sections of the radiography community, and all of the devolved nations, including those who wish to serve a second term on an advisory group.
SoR is also seeking reviewers for Insight, the official CPD publication of the SoR, from across the knowledge areas of radiography, and particularly in therapeutic radiography, nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound and quantitative research.
Vacancies and availabilities
Interested members can apply now for roles within any of the following advisory groups:
- Consultant Radiographers Advisory Group (CRAG)
- Computed Tomography Advisory Group (CTAG)
- Diagnostic Imaging Advisory Group (DIAG) (applications from Wales and Northern Ireland are particularly welcomed alongside senior leaders and support workers)
- Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Advisory Group (NMMAG) (applications from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are particularly welcomed alongside senior leaders, nuclear medicine technologists and support workers)
- Magnetic Resonance Advisory Group (MRAG)
- Radiotherapy Advisory Group (RAG)
- Radiographic Informatics Advisory Group (RIAG) (Applications from data analysts are particularly welcome)
- Research Advisory Group
- Ultrasound Advisory Group (UAG) (Applications from Northern Ireland are particularly welcome)
The SoR is also seeking InsightReviewers in the following areas:
- Therapeutic Radiographers
- Nuclear medicine
- Mammography
- Ultrasound
- Quantitative researchers
Interested members must be:
- In good standing with the SoR (as evidenced by a strong membership record)
- Respected and held in high esteem by their peers
- An excellent collaborator and active team/board member
- Energetic and enthusiastic in relation to the profession/education
- Able and willing to devote time and energy to the group between meetings by email and other electronic means, and be able to attend up to two meetings per year (one virtual, and one in person in London.)
