An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Education and Professional Practice directorate. The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for a Quality Improvement Partner to join their cross-college Quality Improvement Unit in partnership with the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR). 

The Quality Improvement Partner role is an exciting opportunity to support imaging services across the UK as they undertake quality improvement within their departments working towards compliance with the Quality Standard for Imaging. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual committed to quality improvement to join the team. To be successful you will have experience of working in imaging services, quality improvement or standards, as well as the ability to work effectively from home and the ability to travel across the UK (for occasional meetings).  You should be able to build positive working relationships and be able to support services remotely in the use of quality improvement tools.

What you need to know

  • Location: Home-based, with occasional travel to meetings.
  • Hours: Part-time. This role can either be on a 0.6 FTE (three days a week) or a 0.4 FTE (two days a week) basis. Please specify the hours you are applying for in your application.
  • Contractual status: two-year fixed-term contract, with potential to extend.
  • Salary: £27,862 per annum for 0.6 FTE, £18,575 per annum for 0.4 FTE, plus excellent benefits.
