Nanosonics has been confirmed as the College of Radiographers’ Industry Partnership Scheme’s (CoRIPS) new Premier Knowledge Partner for 2026.

CoRIPS is operated by the College of Radiographers, the charity subsidiary of the Society of Radiographers. CoRIPS is a grant that provides funding for projects focusing on any aspect of the science or practice of radiography.

Nanosonics, an Australian-based company that globally manufactures and distributes ultrasound automated disinfection technology, is the newest company to be named a premier partner for the CoR.

“Nanosonics is proud to become a Premier Knowledge Partner of CoRIPS,” it said. “This partnership underscores our shared commitment to advancing infection prevention through evidence-based research and clinical excellence.

“By supporting CoRIPS, we’re investing in the future of safer patient care and empowering clinicians with the knowledge needed to drive meaningful, lasting improvements in healthcare practice.”

How can radiographers receive CoRIPS funding?

There are two CoRIPS grant calls per year, which take place in April and October. Small projects with bids of up to £5,000 and larger projects with bids of up to £10,000 are considered. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, and a maximum of ten applications are assessed per round.

To be eligible for funding, a successful CoRIPS applicant must be both a radiographer and a member of the Society of Radiographers. For funding under £5,000, a minimum of one year of SoR membership is required. Funding over £5,000 requires a minimum of two years of membership.
