Nick Barlow, consultant radiographer at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, delivered the talk on abdominal X-ray interpretation with all proceeds going to the fund, which received very positive feedback.

Nick said: ‘I wanted to provide everyone with high quality CPD events in the pandemic at a time where opportunities for learning have become restricted. In these difficult times there are sadly several of our colleagues who are struggling financially and the benevolent fund can be a real lifeline. Hopefully this event has helped to highlight the fund and will encourage others to contribute.

‘I think it is important that we utilize the individual skills we have gained to help others in and outside the SCoR. I would invite anyone out there who wants to raise money both for the benevolent fund and for other charities to work with me in creating future events and initiatives’.

Nick delivered the lecture via his website where he also produces a series of learning events on X-ray interpretation throughout the year.
