This Thursday (1 April) is when NHS staff are due a pay rise. To mark this day, health unions including SoR are asking everyone to use their windows to show support for NHS workers with a poster and put pressure on the Westminster government to rethink its 1% pay rise proposal.
In addition, the Daily Mirror is running a competition and asking its readers to share their posters to help bring about a pay rise for NHS staff. The winning entry will be printed in Wednesday’s newspaper, with people urged to cut the page out and place in their windows in good time for Thursday’s NHS pay day.
But the deadline for entries is today – at midnight tonight. All you need to do is take a picture of your poster (the brighter and more colourful the better) and email it to [email protected] with the subject header NHS POSTER. Don’t forget to include your contact details.
