Members of the SoR are encouraged to attend the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers’ International Radiographers Conference 2026.

Building on last year’s success, the conference will bring together radiographers, researchers, educators, students, industry partners, and healthcare professionals from across the UK and around the world to exchange knowledge, showcase innovation, and strengthen professional collaboration in medical imaging and radiography.

Last year the conference, organised by the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers Special Interest Group (PAIR SIG),  saw 172 delegates in attendance. Now, it promises a professional programme dedicated to clinical excellence, leadership development, research advancement, and education in radiography.

Taking place on Saturday 4 July at the UKKCA Community Hall in Wolverhampton, this year’s theme is “Empowering Radiographers, Enabling Intelligence.”

'Learn, network and thrive'

A spokesperson for the group said: “We aim to create an enriching academic and professional experience, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among radiographers from diverse backgrounds. This conference will provide a platform to learn, network, and thrive, enhancing our collective expertise in the field of radiology.”

Early Bird registration and the abstract submissions are now open, offering radiographers, educators, researchers, and students an opportunity to present innovation on a national platform. In particular, it is seeking submissions that address the challenges and successes of internationally trained professionals.

The PAIR SIG is a dedicated network of Indian-origin radiographers working within the healthcare system, committed to supporting and empowering Indian radiographers.
