SoR members are being encouraged to submit an abstract for the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) Dubai World Congress 2026.
The ISRRT will take place from 27-29 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE. The event takes place every two years, with the 2026 conference being the 24th edition.
In order to submit an abstract, prospective speakers must create an account on the ISRRT Dubai World Congress website here. They must then submit their abstract adhering to the submission guidelines.
The guidelines state that the abstract should match up to the presentation category selected by the applicant. The abstract must be submitted in English. In addition, the abstract should be submitted through the ISRRT Dubai World Congress online portal, and all information at the time of submission should be accurate. The presenter is not allowed to present their abstract in relation to any commercial entity.
The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2025.
According to an email from ISRRT calling for submissions, prospective presenters are encouraged to submit their abstracts in order to "showcase your research, share insights, and gain recognition on a global stage in radiography and medical imaging".
Presenters would also benefit from showing their work to international experts and industry leaders, as well as having the opportunity to network with professionals from more than 80 countries.
For more information on submitting an abstract for the ISRRT Dubai World Congress, contact [email protected].
SoR members are routinely encouraged to submit abstracts for conferences, as it gives them the opportunity to represent the SoR on a wider level. In April, the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers invited SoR members to submit poster and paper abstracts for the International Radiographers Conference 2025, which will take place on 5 July.
Members were also encouraged to submit abstracts for the Royal College of Radiologists' AI conference, which took place in February.
