Student members of the SoR are being encouraged to attend the Society’s revamped student network meetings running throughout the year.
Attendees will have an opportunity to improve their professional activity, participate in a community of like-minded students, and find out more about what is happening in the world of radiography.
All pre-registration students and apprentice members are welcome to attend.
Nichola Jamison, students and new professionals officer at the SoR, said: “Our student network is a great way for radiography learners, on any pre-registration pathway, to meet fellow learners and get involved in our active community.
“It is open to all SoR student and apprentice members, and is a fantastic opportunity to gain CPD, leadership experience and peer support. The next few months is set to be particularly exciting, as we recruit new leadership teams for both the network and the popular ‘Student Radiographer’ podcast!"
Monthly student network meetings include:
“We also have 3 great ‘Understanding autism’ sessions, designed by National Autistic Society scheduled over the next few network meetings - why not get involved, improve neuroinclusive practice, and achieve some valuable CPD along the way?” Ms. Jamison added. “New attendees are always welcome, and we would love to have you join us in our exciting online space!”
