
Next year’s UK Imaging and Oncology Congress will take place in Liverpool from 7-9 June, giving members of the SoR the opportunity to attend for three days of continuing professional development.
The UKIO Congress takes place every year in Liverpool, giving attendees the chance to get three days of practice-based content targeted to a multiprofessional audience.
This year’s Congress concluded on 10 June, and members can now also access the full gallery of pictures taken during the event.
UKIO provides a forum for cutting-edge, practice-based content, an exhibition floor for the latest technology, and guidance on the important trends in the imaging and radiography professions, and for the support and assistive workforce.

Alongside a full programme of learning sessions, the conference also offers the opportunity for researchers to pitch their projects, submit abstracts, and be awarded for best practice in the profession.

The 2026 edition ofImaging and Oncology, an annual SoR publication focused on innovation and the future direction of the profession, has also now been released.
It maintains a focus on contemporary topics in clinical imaging and oncology, and is curated to align with the four pillars of practice within the College of Radiographers’ Education and Career Framework.
