Registrations are now open for the free one-day RadResearch conference, designed to support academic radiographers looking to build their skills.

Taking place on 10 February 2026 in Reading, the RadResearch Conference is open to radiography professionals new to research, as well as those hoping to develop their current skills.

The event is organised by the Incubator for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiographers, a National Institute for Health and Care Research initative that aims to increase research participation by radiographers.

A statement from the organisers said: “Radiographers are uniquely placed to identify areas for improvement in imaging, radiotherapy and patient pathways.

“Radiographer-led research ensures that innovation is grounded in real clinical need, strengthens evidence-based practice, and supports the ongoing development of the profession.

“Building research capability within radiography not only improves patient care, but also enhances professional leadership, workforce retention and service development.”

The aims of the conference are to “demistify research,” and demonstrate the value radiographers have in shaping the future of healthcare research, the organisers added.
