The SoR’s National Conference for Radiology Leaders will return in 2026 for leaders in imaging to hear from leading thinkers and see examples of best practice.
Hosted as a collaboration between the Society of Radiographers and Philips Healthcare UK, the National Conference for Radiology Leaders (NCRL) provides leaders the opportunity to hear from experts in the field about best practice.
Next year’s conference is entitled “Leading with impact: Shaping the future together”, and is expected to be a “stimulating and rewarding day for all”.
Securing the future of services
A spokesperson for the SoR explained that the conference would aim to ask questions, including: “As leaders, how can we provide meaning and motivation for our teams in the midst of the escalating demands of the speciality? How do we bring about change that is sustainable and impactful for our colleagues and our patients?”
“Let’s work together to secure the future of our services,” they added.
Department heads, clinical leads, or those involved with guiding strategic initiatives are all invited to attend, as leaders in shaping the future of radiology.
Connecting with friends old and new
As in previous years, the conference will enable attendees to connect with old friends, meet and make new contacts, and share experiences with others while learning from the leading voices of radiology.
Beginning with the registration at 8.45am, followed by the chair’s Welcome at 9.30am, the conference will give attendees the chance to listen to exciting discussions, including:

- Supporting Radiography Professionals: Supervision, Preceptorship, and Tackling Burnout Together
- Fireside chat: Prevention in Practice: Making every contact count

The conference will conclude at 5pm and be followed by a drink’s reception.
