A set of ‘A Day in the Life of’ virtual reality (VR) films have been commissioned by Health Education England (HEE) as part of its work to ensure there is a supply of professionals for vulnerable specialities.
Therapeutic radiography is one of the professions chosen to feature in the films, alongside podiatry, orthoptics, and prosthetics and orthotics.
Through an immersive 360 VR experience, viewers can join therapeutic radiographers as they meet, diagnose and treat patients, as well as learning more about radiotherapy and therapeutic radiographers.
Members are encouraged to share the video link to promote the profession.
