Have you ever thought about using your radiography skills within developing regions of the world, to help provide local people with a better quality healthcare service?

Take action today and apply for a RAD-AID overseas placement.

RAD-AID International and the College of Radiographers offer a programme designed to give diagnostic and therapeutic radiographers the opportunity to contribute to the healthcare needs of the developing world. Successful applicants will join RAD-AID’s project teams in international initiatives designed to improve access to quality medical imaging for populations in need.

The experience of working in a multidisciplinary team for radiology around the world can be personally and professionally fulfilling as you learn about other cultures and health care systems to use your talents for improving global health.

Andrew Pellew-Nabbs, a recent recipient of the CoR/RAD-AID award spent time working in Ethiopia last year. He reports: “I would encourage anyone who is interested in radiology advancement and education to get involved with RAD-AID, to volunteer some time if possible and take part in a project that could really enhance your professional development and offer something completely different!”
