Become a technical/peer assessor for ISAS

Apppointed by the College of Radiographers and College of Radiologists, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), who have been the independent assessor of ISAS since its inception, are looking to increase their assessment capacity in line with demand.

Radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technicians and radiologists are being urgently required to become assessors for the ISAS scheme.

If you have at least four years practical experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology in any of the following areas (for both adults and paediatrics), you are encouraged to apply for the role:
- Fluoroscopy
- Mammography
- Ultrasound
- Computerised tomography
- MRI
- Radionuclide imaging
- DEXA
- PACs
- General radiology
- Interventional radiology

You’ll receive in-depth training, one day pre-training and two days residential training, and participation will contribute towards your CPD.

Up to three assessments per year will be expected from you, consisting of a site visit and remote evidence review.
