Earlybird deadline approaching for IR(ME)R Referrer course

Do you know a nurse or allied health professional who would like to become an IR(ME)R Referrer? Or someone who is already an IR(ME)R duty holder who requires an update on the revised regulations?

The earlybird deadline ends on 30 January.Please let your colleagues know time is running out to take advantage of the reduced rate!

Most UK clinical imaging departments will not give IR(ME)R entitlement to individuals until they have had some form of awareness training. By taking this training they will be in a position to seek IR(ME)R Referrer entitlement from their local radiology service.

As a result of attending, they will:

  • Develop an understanding of the legal and professional responsibilities associated with being an IR(ME)R Referrer
  • Obtain knowledge of the requirements for local IR(ME)R Employer Procedures
  • Discover information about the best clinical imaging examinations for typical patient disorders and diseases
