Most UK clinical imaging departments will not give IR(ME)R entitlement to individuals until they have had some form of awareness training. By taking this training they will be in a position to seek IR(ME)R Referrer entitlement from their local radiology service.
As a result of attending, they will:
- Develop an understanding of the legal and professional responsibilities associated with being an IR(ME)R Referrer
- Obtain knowledge of the requirements for local IR(ME)R Employer Procedures
